DKT Mekong: A One-Stop Shop for Reproductive Health
On November 15th, during this year’s Water Festival in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, DKT Mekong, the trusted one-stop shop for sexual and reproductive health (SRH), turned heads with its Fiesta booth. Situated along the riverside, with colorful floats parading on boats across the street by the river for Bon Om Touk (Water Festival), the booth brought together fun, education, and engagement in a cheerful atmosphere. The booth showcased DKT Mekong’s product line, making reproductive health approachable and engaging for festival-goers.
A Festive Celebration with Fiesta by the Riverside
Festival-goers were greeted by a colorful setup, featuring decorations, upbeat music, and interactive displays. The Fiesta booth attracted the crowd, mostly young adult male Cambodians, eager to engage in the fun activities and learn more about the Fiesta brand and product line. More than 2,000 Fiesta condoms were distributed to over 5,000 visitors. Participants gained not just valuable knowledge about reproductive health but also souvenirs to remember the experience.
Fun Games and Prizes
The Fiesta booth created a buzz with its interactive games, fantastic prizes, and exclusive product samples. Hundreds of passers-by had the chance to connect with Fiesta ambassadors who introduced them to the Fiesta condom line. Conversations covered topics such as choosing the right condom type, understanding sizes, and learning about proper use. They were also invited to play the interactive games.
A visitor shared, “I’ve never seen anything like this at the Water Festival— the games were so much fun!”
A highlight of the Fiesta booth was the sensory play boxes, where participants could experience the unique features of each product by feeling the textures and discovering the actual condom inside. A fun and interactive way to bring the Fiesta product line to life!
A guest shared how they used to feel shy about discussing condoms, but after engaging with the Fiesta ambassadors, they walked away feeling informed and confident. They even shouted, “We’re Fiesters!”
Another festival-goer remarked, “I didn’t expect a booth like this to be so fun. The games were great, and it’s cool that I get to see this with my friends while winning prizes.”
