EP 1: Takeo province 🌿🦐

When thinking about Takeo province, it is hard to forget the famous natural giant freshwater prawns from Angkor Borei district. It’s a signature dish and a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. In the first episode of the “Cambodian Eats” season 2, you will find out more about the livelihoods of vendors and fishermen depending on freshwater prawns in Kampong Loung village, Angkor Borei commune, Angkor Borei district, Takeo province.

EP 2: Kampot province πŸŒΏπŸ¦€

In Episode 2, Season 2 of Cambodian Eats!, we are going to Kampot. Kampot is one of other coastal provinces in the Kingdom. When tourists go to Kampot, they tend to visit natural attractions and scenic rapids, especially, they will go for the local seafood which wins the heart of the tourist and its taste is known for to be better than other provinces. In the episode, we will find out more about Trapeang Ropov fishing community as well as its crab production.

EP 3: Pursat province 🌿🐟

In Episode 3, Season 2 of β€œCambodian Eats”, we are going to Pursat. Pursat is one of the five provinces adjacent to the great Tonle Sap lake which is the largest fishing zone in the Kingdom. In this episode, we will explore Tonle Sap lake which helps supply for the local people and improve their livelihood as well as how the prahok is made.

EP 4: Kampong Speu province 🌿🌴

In the last episode, season 2 of the Cambodian Eats, we travel to Kampong Speu which is known for its eco-tourist attractions, being home to the highest peak in the Kingdom and having palm trees standing tall along the rice fields on every side of the province’s roads. Neighboring Kandal, Koh Kong, Pursat, Takeo and Kampong Chhnang province, Kampong Speu has around one million palm trees, which is one-third of the total palm trees across the Kingdom. You will be able to find out about how sugar palm in Prei Preal village, Phnom Toch commune, Oudong district in Kampong Speu province is produced.
